When we opened on Oakland Park Boulevard in Lauderhill, we wanted something rare in Broward County: an Indian restaurant that felt like stepping into a courtyard in Lucknow — lanterns, jasmine, the murmur of a fountain — not a strip-mall transaction.
Our owner shapes every plate, every garnish, every candle on the garden tables. Recipes travel from Punjab, Lucknow, Hyderabad, and Kerala — carried across generations, then refined for the palates of Lauderhill families, Fort Lauderdale professionals, and Broward celebrations.
Spices are toasted and ground in-house. Biryanis are sealed slow-dum. Naan leaves the tandoor minutes before it reaches your table. That is the Maharaja promise: luxury without pretense, warmth without hurry.
